Why TokStat Exists
There are hundreds of tools that tell you how many followers a TikTok creator has. There are very few that answer the question that actually matters for brand buyers, account acquirers, and creators themselves: what is this account worth, and how much does it generate?
TokStat builds a computational layer on top of public data β follower counts, engagement rates, niche categories β to produce defensible earnings estimates and account valuations. We document every formula so you can audit or challenge our numbers.
Data Sources
V1 data is sourced from curated CSV exports of top TikTok creators by country (US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Spain). We do not use real-time API scraping. Data is refreshed periodically as new exports are produced.
Each import captures: username, display name, follower count, engagement rate, primary country, and niche categories. We do not have access to actual revenue figures; all earnings are estimates.
Monthly Earnings Estimate
Because we lack average view counts, we estimate monthly views from followers and engagement rate:
erBoost = ER β₯ 10% β 2.5 ER β₯ 5% β 1.7 ER β₯ 2% β 1.2 ER β₯ 1% β 0.9 ER < 1% β 0.6 monthlyViews = followers Γ 1.5 Γ erBoost
Revenue streams are then estimated separately:
- Creator Rewards Program: USD 0.40β1.00 per 1,000 views, scaled by country CPM multiplier and niche earnings multiplier.
- Brand deals: estimated from per-post rate (followers Γ 0.01 Γ erBoost Γ niche multiplier), assuming 20β40% of posts are sponsored for accounts over 50k followers. A sanity cap of followers Γ 0.10 prevents absurd estimates for high-ER micro-creators.
- Live gifts: applied only to accounts over 100k followers.
- TikTok Shop / Affiliate: higher multiplier applied for beauty, fashion, fitness, and product-focused niches.
Account Market Valuation
We apply a standard digital asset valuation framework:
earningsMultiple = followers β₯ 10M β 4.0Γ followers β₯ 1M β 3.0Γ followers β₯ 100k β 2.0Γ below β 1.0Γ audienceValue = followers Γ (countryMult Γ 0.08) Γ engagementFactor brandPremium = annualEarnings Γ 0.25 (verified accounts only) valuation_mid = (annualEarnings Γ multiple) + audienceValue + brandPremium range: mid Γ 0.75 to mid Γ 1.30
Earnings multiples reflect typical acquisition prices observed in the creator economy marketplace (Fameswap, Viral Accounts, Empire Flippers). These are approximations.
TokstatScore (0β100)
A composite score that places each creator within their peer group:
score = round( 0.60 Γ percentileRank(engagement_rate) + 0.40 Γ percentileRank(followers_count) ) Γ 100
Percentile rank is computed globally across all creators using MySQL's PERCENT_RANK() window function. A score of 80 means the creator outperforms 80% of all tracked creators on this composite metric.
Niche & Country Multipliers
Country CPM multipliers reflect relative ad market pricing (US = 1.0 baseline). Niche multipliers reflect industry-reported CPM and brand deal rate differentials β business/finance and education niches command significantly higher sponsorship rates than entertainment niches.
Limitations & Disclaimer
All figures are estimates. Actual earnings depend on content performance, deal negotiation, audience geography, posting frequency, and platform policy changes. Accounts marked Limited data lack niche information and use conservative defaults.
